Raise a glass for art! Members and their partners, family and house guests are invited to join us on zoom. Celebrate the chance to see your friends, other artists and be inspired by their company. Join us with your favorite beverage, hors d'oeurves and/or dinner. This has been a very long pandemic, and this is a chance to get together. Once the pandemic is over or in better shape, we will again meet monthly at a fellow artist's house bringing an entree, dessert, or salad for 8 people and what you want to drink. Plates, flatware, napkins and glasses will be provided. In good weather and where the pandemic allows, we will meet outdoors as we did several times in 2021. To get the link on zoom, email infoberkshireartists@gmail.com Normal times are the second Sunday 4-5pm in winter and 5-6pm other seasons.

Meeting ID: 875 8767 3637

Join Michele Caplan and other Members on second and fourth Tuesdays 7:30-8:30pm.
Share art work and get positive feedback.
To participate: Members should email Michele Caplan at mdwcap@gmail.com with one or two pieces of their work that they like, and one or two they are not finished with and want suggestions. Members will show only one piece of work at our meetings so we have time to really think about them and talk about them. The work will be shared on the screen, not by holding it up on zoom, so it can be seen well. Members should submit their work at least the day before to Michele’s gmail.

Possible topics which have been proposed include:
“licensing our art”
“What happens to our art when our heirs get it?”
“how to ship large art works?”
“What did you learn The hard way and can share with other artists”
"to lease or not to lease"
Please share with us any answers you have to this question as probably most folks would be interested in what you learned.
One offering is “Color Interaction using Josef Alber's course" (five of us met weekly from January to June, learned a lot and plan to continue this fall and want to share this with other interested artists willing to work in small groups (we zoomed!).

Share your favorite book on an artist, process, era, or style with other members of the Guild. Explain why you love the book. Show your favorite pictures, diagrams or paragraphs from the book. In the past, we met at Shaker Mill Books in West Stockbridge, where it was hard to leave without finding a fabulous new or old art book. Now online on Zoom.
